Carol is a third-generation Californian who, after extensive travel throughout the world, discovered the beauty and splendor of Marin County and made the bayside of Tiburon her home. Her natural love of creating beautiful and functional environments for herself and her friends led to a partnership venture in real estate. She acquired, designed, renovated, remodeled, and sold homes in Marin and San Francisco.

She also moved her very successful nationwide educational corporation's headquarters to Marin where the company continued to provide seminars on personal development and well-being for corporations, small businesses, and the public. In 2003 she founded Augustus Designs, a staging company, specializing in the redesign and staging of luxury homes in San Francisco and Marin.
